I don't think this is possible, TBH.  I don't think it would be able to perform adequate pathfinding, even if it was non-solid and allowed to pass through walls; it would never try.

 

If it is though, that would be really cool.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

 

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

I would override doBlockCollisions().

Warning : Recommended to have a flying entity !

Hmmm i have an entity that does that . But i recommend u search for no clip and use the motionY for rendering flying or swimming (Y intercept) and motionX for ghost modes code

 

This really helps a lot =) .

yes, it is a flying entity, it's more of a technical entity then anything else. I overrid it and deleted everything inside, but it still really likes to stop moving when colliding with a block.
