Hi, I'm opening this support request because I'm trying to play the "Dawn Craft" modpack for forge 1.18.2. I want to use Optifine instead of using the already built-in mods like rubidium, rubidium extras, oculus and flywheel compat. The reason is that at least as far as my computer is concerned, optifine simply works better than the other mods named before, this is because honestly the sodium forks kind of suck. Playing the modpack with rubidium is horrible, both because the graphics aren't the best (without anti aliasing for example) and because I have a big FPS loss. There is a modpack for 1.16.5 called Crazy Craft Updated that has rubidium, playing with it was barely getting me 60fps, while by removing it and putting optifine I was getting 300+ fps.

Once I justified why I would want to use optifine, I realized that using it in the modpack, crashes the modpack itself, and one of the reasons (since I'm not an expert) seems to be flywheel (not flywheel compat, which is disabled).

Now, as far as I know, flywheel should have no incompatibility with optifine, but for some reason the modpack crashes. I've already tried asking for help in the discord server of the modpack creators, but they don't have an actual team there dedicated specifically to help users with THIS kind of error. So, they told me to ask for help from you. Here is the crash report along with the latest log.

The error is with the valhelsia_core mod which others have said is not compatible with optifine.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
