Betterbig2 Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 (edited) Hi! Tried everything after reading FAQ without sucess. Here is debug.log file https://pastebin.com/bWR1Te6C Thanks in advance for any help you can give to me. My little grandson purchased Minecraft with his savings a few days ago, with the idea of playing with her friends - all are using Forge mods-, and I can´t help him with this error. warjort Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 Quote # C [atio6axx.dll+0x1759f0] Graphics driver issue. If you really did try what is suggested in the FAQ then you need to contact AMD or your computer manufacturer/supplier to ask for help. Or try a specialised forum about graphic driver problems. e.g. https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/windows-update-may-have-automatically-replaced-your-amd-graphics/td-p/608958 1 Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
Paint_Ninja Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 @warjort Please don't recommend people to disable automatic updates for drivers, as this is the cause of the problem (people installing a beta driver over a year ago and assuming it auto updates). The solution for when your driver gets reverted after updating is to remove it fully with the AMD Cleanup Utility first. Follow the instructions here, then update the drivers according to the FAQ once that's done. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601 1 Quote Official Forge Discord server | Support FAQ for players

The original poster already said the solution in the FAQ didn't work for them. My link to a solution that has worked for others in such cirucumstances. i.e. experimenting with downgrading to older drivers until you find one that doesn't crash the game. I don't have an AMD graphics card so I am no expert on this stuff. 1 Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. Paint_Ninja Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 (edited) It prevents all automatic AMD graphics driver updates - fixing the cause of it reverting by using the cleanup utility is better. Downgrading is a bad idea as you would need to go back to a version from May/June 2022 before it works, if not older, which doesn't support newer hardware and lacks many optimisations and bugfixes. (Latest drivers have about double the avg fps in MC vs the May/June 2022 ones) The way to reliably fix the issue is to update to the latest stable (aka "Recommended WHQL") driver version and use the AMD Cleanup Utility if it keeps reverting to the old broken beta version. Then to enable auto updates in Radeon settings. Edited August 21, 2023 by Paint_Ninja Missed word "automatic" 1 Quote Official Forge Discord server | Support FAQ for players
Betterbig2 Posted August 22, 2023 Author Posted August 22, 2023 Thank you mates for help. What I do was to remove graphics drivers (processor is 3400G with integrated graphics) using AMD Cleanup utility in safe mode, then, installed the latest WHQL graphics drivers, and Minecraft started with forge mod without error code 1. My little grandson is happy Let us see if works well. Thank you again. 1 Quote
