Posted October 6, 201312 yr Hey guys, I'm currently developing my own Cloud-Based Launcher(Sync of map and so on), which is in good progress. But after getting Automatic Forge install to work, there is a problem with downloading the Libraries. Error while downloading net.minecraftforge:minecraftforge:9.10.1.871: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Während des Vorgangs ist eine Ausnahme aufgetreten, sodass das Ergebnis ungültig ist. Weitere Ausnahmedetails finden Sie in InnerException. ---> System.Net.WebException: Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben: (304) Nicht geändert. bei System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult) bei System.Net.WebClient.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request, IAsyncResult result) bei System.Net.WebClient.DownloadBitsResponseCallback(IAsyncResult result) --- Ende der internen Ausnahmestapelüberwachung --- bei System.ComponentModel.AsyncCompletedEventArgs.RaiseExceptionIfNecessary() bei System.Net.DownloadDataCompletedEventArgs.get_Result() bei MCCL.Utils.Download.wc_DownloadDataCompleted(Object sender, DownloadDataCompletedEventArgs e) in c:\Users\Markus\Desktop\Developing\McCloudLoader\Utils\Download.cs:Zeile 59. Seems the Maven Repo is down or moved(sometimes it returns a 404, sometimes a 304) Does anyone know how to effectively fix it(actually Quickfixing it by replacing the Maven Repo with my Own Host)?
October 6, 201312 yr https://github.com/MinecraftForge/Installer/blob/master/src/main/java/cpw/mods/fml/installer/DownloadUtils.java#L56 It isn't a full maven repo, we actually have compressed versions of the jars that we download. Just int he maven structure. See what I linked on how to download files properly. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
