I downloaded minecraft forge installer for 1.6.2. and properly used the installer but instead of saying success, it said, These libraries failed to download. Try again. org.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2, org.scala-lang:scala-compiler:2.10.2. I did what the rules and EAQ told me to do but it still didn't work.

If you run minecraft and all is fine then there's nothing wrong.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.

Use the "Forge" profile.

I am having a similar issue. It says it is "Considering" the libraries, but after it finishes, it says it completed and installed 0 required libraries.

I run Minecraft, and it is still vanilla. If I check the .jar for that profile, it's just the vanilla files.

This is really frustrating. :/

Run the install from the console and paste the output here.

So we can see what is going on.

As for the 'Forge' profile having vanilla.. that should never happen unless you've installed something not from us.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
