How would I get the directory that my mod stores the assets in? Like turn "mschouses:BLAHBLAH" into a file path?

I want to get a file that is in my assets/mschouses/generation folder but don't know how

"mschouses:BLAHBLAH" -> "src/minecraft/assets/mschouses/textures/*/BLAHBLAH.png"

When you compile for release, you just add the /assets directory to the root of your zip file.

Where * is either "blocks" or "items" depending on if you have registered a block texture or an item texture.  A few others may be handled as well (i.e. gui, entities, etc.) but I haven't checked.

I mean something like this. FYI ResourceFile.houseGenBase is

public static ResourceLocation houseGen_loc_base = new ResourceLocation("mschouses", "generation/");

EDIT: I want it to turn "mschouses:" into a file path like C:\Minecraft\assets\***

ResourceLocation("assets/mschouses/textures/generation/somefile.png");
