I'm running Forge 9.11.1.931 as a Hamatchi server with my friend but when I start it using a bat it never recognizes that it has extra ram. The max it will use (judging by stats section of the Server window) is around 500 mb. Even though I set it for -Xmx2048m -Xms1024m. Does anyone know a fix or an alternate way to start Forge with extra RAM? We kinda need it as DivineRPG and ExtrabiomesXL do lag up the world gen pretty bad.

Forge has nothing to do with the management of RAM this is all the JVM.

We need the exact commadn you're running with, because the jvm arguments need to come before the -jar argument.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

The .bat file goes like this for me.

javaw -Xmx2048m -Xms1024m -jar "C:\Users\Homndson\Desktop\Forge Server\minecraftforge-universal-1.6.4-9.11.1.931.jar"
