How do I get rid of stone generation in a new biome?

Hey everyone!

I was watching a tutorial on how to create a custom biome, and it said that you couldn't remove the stone. I don't understand why you are not able to do that, but I think that it has to do with the biome generator being a vanilla biome generator. How do I create a biome that doesn't have stone in it, or in other words, how do I create a custom biome generator so that my biomes can be completely customizable?

Actually you can't remove the stone unless you are working with your own dimension or well at least your own chunk provider.

 

The reason for this is that the world is first generated purely with stone.

Then later it replaces stone with whatever is the top and filler blocks of that biome.

Then how come there is no stone in the Nether? I want this biome in my own dimension if that helps

And if you are doing your own dimension then create your own chunk provider, jobs done.
