Minecraft Forge errors

    Minecraft forge (minecraftforge-installer-1.6.4-9.11.1.953) is giving me a message saying "These libraries failed to download. Try again. org.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2, org.scala-complier:2.10.2".

 

 

    I have also noticed that there is no Json file in the imported file from the installer, just a jar file. I have not edited the jar file in any way.

hello, made my account because of this. followed your advice to that page but the files it gives for that specific problem don't do anything to help. "These libraries failed to download. Try again. org.scala-lang:scala-library:2.10.2, org.scala-lang:scala-compiler:2.10.2

Download this: http://personal.forgeessentials.com/luacs1998/forge/fmllibsmc16.zip and extract it to your .minecraft folder, then try running Minecraft, or redownload the installer."

all the link gives me is an a folder named "org" with some other folders and some .jars in them.

i tried running minecraft like the information says. no Forge.

Tried running the installer again, same error.

i have a fresh copy of MC so i know its not my MC.

i have all firewalls disabled for this thing.

As the EAQ says, it's a zip file, copy EVERYTHING IN THE ZIP to your .minecraft FOLDER. Either that or rerun your installer, turn off antivirus, whatever.

Thank you so much for the help. I was able to get it working. simple really for those who still need help. Just drop this file: http://personal.forgeessentials.com/luacs1998/forge/fmllibsmc16.zip into the libraries folder in .minecraft
