Rendering HTML in a GUI

Hey guys,

I want to render HTML code into a GUI. However, the only ways of doing this in Java that I know of require swing, and as someone on IRC pointed out that wont work in-game.

I've seen other mods which have done things like this for an in-game browser but I'm doing something a bit different. Does anyone know how to do it? One of the mods wasn't ever released and the other is closed-source, so can't just check those... :(

Grab one of those old/closed mods, open them up in JDGui.  Any native java code and any custom code will be perfectly readable.  It'd only be Minecraft code that'll be obfuscated and its highly likely that the HTML code will not be vanilla (therefore not obfuscated).

If you do need to deobfuscate stuff, you can look at the MCP mappings (its a CSV file, which can be opened in a text editor).

At the very least that'll show you what classes to look at.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
