I have a similar problem except that the message I get is:

FAILURE: Could not determine which tasks to execute.

* What went wrong:

Task 'setupDevWorkspace' not found in root project 'ForgeGradle-Master'.

* Try:

Run gradlew tasks to get a list of available tasks.

BUILD FAILED

Total time: 2.755 secs

thats is a very different problem.. not similair at all...

anyways.. you are trying to do your commands in a folder where there is no build.gradle file. you must be in the same directory as the build.gradle file.

It is in the same directory in cmd.exe I'm in C:/ForgeGradle-master/ build.gradle is in the same place as gradlew.bat...
