[1.6.4]Dual Input Furnace help - 2 inputs, 1 output no fuel slots (preferably).

Hi.

I was just making my mod, AddedCompat, when I thought - hmm, what about an alchemical infuser? For infusing skeleton heads with wither essence and etc. And since it is magical it has an infinite internal fuel source. I checked up some tutorials for 1.6.4 but only 1.6.2 came up. Also all of them had fuel slots. Is it possible to not have one? This can't be done with a normal furnace because different essences go into different things.

Thanks!

You could take a look at the tileentity furnace and edit out the burning stuff OR you could just copy all minecraft furnace file remove the fuel slot and set

    public boolean isBurning()

    {

        return this.furnaceBurnTime > 0;

    }

to always return true so technically your new block is always burning therefor never needing a new fuel.

I'm always happy to help others!

Java is not my main programming language but I have alot experience in PHP/HTML/JS/CSS3/C#/SQL

Just make a recipeList, Hashmap is good enough.

Just add to the onUpdate function something like that:

public int progress = 0;

@Override
public void onUpdate()
{
     if(recipeMatch())
     {
          progress++;
          if(progress > 200)//Normal furnace Time
          {
               progress = 0;
               //put everything here what should happen if the progress is done.
          }
     }
     else
     {
          progress = 0; //so that it does not save the progress
     }
}
