Aukunydé Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Hello, I've been trying to get this modpack from 1.16.5 up to 1.19.2 and have been doing great up until I got hit by that wall. According to Cyanide, some vanilla features try to generate later than modded world gen which leads to a full on crash even before the world can generate. I don't know how to solve this issue or why it's been happening, can anyone help me ? https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/2Ss8jF4Qt8/ I'd be more than happy to have at least a hint on what to do next. Thanks in advance. Quote
TileEntity Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Looks like an incompatibility with byg Quote Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
Aukunydé Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 Thanks for your answer and sorry I forgot to mention that I already tried getting rid of byg but then it just does the same thing with ars nouveau that barely adds 1 biome and a few trees here and there. That's why I thought it might not be strictly mod related since I already played a few times with those two mods without issues in the same minecraft version. Quote
TileEntity Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Try other builds of Cyanide Quote Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
Aukunydé Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 Sorry for the delay, I tried another cyanide build and it stayed exactly the same. So I checked once again on different sites what could be the cause and a compatibility error seemed to come up a lot. I didn't really think about it since the game actually started and I basically just updated a modpack but I had some mods replaced with equivalents and forgot about it. I made a few tests and it came out that red's better biomes was the one who caused all of this, it kinda makes sense now with the cyanide output and all but back then I didn't even think about it. Really sorry to have wasted your time like that, should've looked a bit more into it. And for anyone who has the same kinda problem, just take out half your mods and try, if it doesn't crash, grab half of the second half and continue on. Eventually you'll single out some mods that lead to your problem. Still, thank you for trying to help me out, really appreciated and have a great rest of your day ! 1 Quote
