Posted January 12, 201411 yr Hi people Im using minecraft 1.6.4 and forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-universal.jar. To make a new server for a new modpack based around Guns, Explosives and general Destruction, I wanted to generate a world that has a continent not too big, so the people will be "forced" to play near each other. I found a nice seed for my map using Amidst (seed -1555576432758290044). Now as soon as I load that seed with forge the map changes. Im not using any mods except for forge, but I cannot see a logical reason to why forge by itself would change world generation.
January 12, 201411 yr No, it doesn't but rememebr that your spawn position is randomized independent of the world seed. {To some extent} So be sure you find a single reference point. Not your 'spawn' http://puu.sh/6iHB7.jpg I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
