Hi people

Im using minecraft 1.6.4 and forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-universal.jar.

To make a new server for a new modpack based around Guns, Explosives and general Destruction, I wanted to generate a world that has a continent not too big, so the people will be "forced" to play near each other.

I found a nice seed for my map using Amidst (seed -1555576432758290044). Now as soon as I load that seed with forge the map changes.

Im not using any mods except for forge, but I cannot see a logical reason to why forge by itself would change world generation.

No, it doesn't but rememebr that your spawn position is randomized independent of the world seed. {To some extent} So be sure you find a single reference point. Not your 'spawn'

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
