I have a saved game that looses chunks on loading, either by resetting to original condition, or putting something different there(I think).  It does not cause a game crash so there is no crash report - just a missing chunk that usually contains part of an expensive build.

What is the best way to gather data on what is going wrong when a game loads?

Thanks

Tracking down random bugs like this is difficult, only thing we can say is read your console logs carefully, there may be hints in there 'Wrong location' 'corrupt' things like that.

Also try and find a way to reproduce it reliably.

Then try killing off your mods 1 by one and seeing if it stops happenening at a certian mod.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Yeah.  I didn't see any obvious errors on the logs.  It would seem someone should log a regenerated chunk, but no.  Thanks, anyway
