Posted January 28, 201411 yr Hello! I'm trying to create a block that "absorbs" blocks around it, and I'd like the blocks to visually fly through the air to meet my block. I know iChun uses this effect with the portal gun mod, but it's not open source. long story short, how would I recreate that effect?
January 28, 201411 yr It's just falling sand without the "falling" effect. Apply other motion vectors to it. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
January 28, 201411 yr Author I've tried doing something like that, but as soon as it hits another block, it turns back from entity to block, and I couldn't figure out how to disable the falling... so would I need to create my own entity based on EntityFallingSand, and use that?

You might have to. I haven't messed with it myself.
