Posted February 1, 201411 yr Just installed Forge on a clean version of minecraft, whenever I load up the game all my servers appear like this; http://ns3369178.ovh.net/2014-02-01_18-39-56.png[/img] and when I try to load or create a single player world it crashes, I've tried multiple versions of Forge/FML and deleted my entire .minecraft folder and started again, I have no mods in my /mods/ folder. Googled it and found nothing. oh also, I don't have a crash log, when I try creating a world it just takes me back to the launcher.
February 1, 201411 yr There is always a log. Be it the Development Console in the launcher, or a log file in the logs folder. As for the server issue, it looks like it's just trying to connect, a log would be useful for that as well. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. As for the server issue, it looks like it's just trying to connect, a log would be useful for that as well. I left the server browser page open for about 5 minutes and all it does is that, when I try to connect it hangs on "Connecting to the server..." Log from joining the game, keeping browser open for about 30 seconds then attempting to join a server, I then loaded an SP world, where it crashes. http://pastebin.com/RaGUjGqf This specific log is from Forge 10.12.0.1021, as I said I was trying multiple builds. I can post a different log on the latest version if required.
February 1, 201411 yr Holy crap, you've got something wrong. First off, try killing your firewall {we hear avast has issues with minecraft} and see if it solves the netty issue. As for the graphics crash at the end.. Looks like a graphics driver issue, try updating your graphics dirver 0.o I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. As for the graphics crash at the end.. Looks like a graphics driver issue, try updating your graphics dirver 0.o Graphics drivers are up to date, using the latest recommended from nvidia. Surprise surprise, avast was the issue, can join servers and play SMP now, thanks! never had any issues with avast and minecraft in the past, though. You wouldn't happen to know if theres a specific way to remove minecraft from being blocked by avast, would you?
