Someone also commented on their curseforge page that the same issue randomly crashes their server.

thank you! i was unsure because in the FAQ it said to not bring new problems into the comments of topics, so i was unsure if i was supposed to make a new topic for it. i also just wanted to say that this has been far more helpful than the other help forums I've been on(math and science stackexchange, not for this but problems corresponding to them).

For 1.20.1, ise Java 17 instead of Java 21

Do not run your server via OneDrive directory:

C:/Users/matth/OneDrive/Desktop/lotm/

Move it to 

C:/Users/matth/lotm/

or similar

 

In your server's mods folder are some client-side-only mods

valkyrienskies-120-2.3.0-beta.9 is mentioned - maybe just this build is not working on servers

moonlight is mentioned, too - so this mod or a mod requiring it
