I uses curseforge to play forge mods. i have contacted their support team and been through everything from running vanilla Minecraft, to checking my folders and logs. The person i was email thus forwarded me here and suggested that it maybe a forge issue. Modpacks work but the profiles do not. When i click play it loads then says 'Launching game' but then doesn't. I've made another instances folder as well repairing installations and profiles, then i have also tried downloading forge multiple times and even into my Minecraft directory folder to which it gave me an error reading 'There is no minecraft directory set up either select a new one, or run the minecraft launcher to create on'. I am just lost on what's going on and have been moving back and forth with customer support for ages and just hope somebody could help me figure out what's going on because nobody has an answer not even online.
