Help with installing forge

Im having a problem with trying to put forge in the .jar for Minecraft.  when using WinRAR i tried dragging the CLASS files in from another file and tried adding directly through the same WinRAR but i keep getting "The Archive is Corrupt"...is it the files themselves? do i have to re-download or am i just trying to bring over things im not supposed to, even though ive tried one at a time CLASS files and i keep getting the message.

Dont know what you're doing wrong or how you're corrupting the jar.

However, use 7zip

And make sure you have a fresh clean install.

ya im not sure either, ive tried it a couple times on new vanilla copies everytime.  is 7zip free? Im new to this so im kinda going by random tutorials and luck Xp

yes, and imho it is the best file archiver.
