March 9, 201411 yr Author I dont know why you copied that section and made no reply. I have checked all the souce areas and the forge code does in fact exist. The part that stumped me was the first line I'm not sure how to rectify that.
March 9, 201411 yr Author WOW read 46 times and not 1 bit of help. Well thanks guys looks like the death of another mod . Countless hours wasted prob over a small thing. I have no Idea why this is called modder support, Thanks again for all the help.
March 9, 201411 yr Don't expect us to fix everything for you within a minute I'm always happy to help others! Java is not my main programming language but I have alot experience in PHP/HTML/JS/CSS3/C#/SQL
March 10, 201411 yr You obviously did something wrong with your build. Man, if you can't provide any detail about what you did, noone can help.
March 10, 201411 yr Author Excuse me... I have provided the whole log file and I "obviously " did nothing wrong. I followed Lexs' tutorial. I really need someone who knows what they are saying to give me some insight into this error. I have searched the net about it and reinstalled java and set it up. Also tried the build on 2 other computers to no avail.
March 10, 201411 yr Then if you did nothing wrong, this is working as expected. Seriously. > Compilation failed; see the compiler error output for details. * Try: Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. Details.
March 10, 201411 yr Author That IS the compiler error. It has the error in it if you look so please dont answer me again and let someone who knows what they are talking about answer.
March 10, 201411 yr Run it with stack trace enabled and give us that log also try installing the latest build and testing it and why are you importing the whole forge package just import what you need.
March 10, 201411 yr Author This is it with the stacktrace option. Thanks for taking the time and finally making sense. This is the latest forge running and I dont think I'm importing all of forge it telling me to but I only imported what I needed. When I was told to i added the import but it made no difference. **************************** Powered By MCP: http://mcp.ocean-labs.de/ Searge, ProfMobius, Fesh0r, R4wk, ZeuX, IngisKahn MCP Data March 10, 201411 yr What I always do first when a build fails is run "gradlew --refresh-dependencies setupDevWorkspace" in my mod folder, then try again. It's worked for me almost every single time when I've had any kind of problem with my workspace. If that doesn't work, has your mod ever recompiled successfully say on the Forge recommended build 1024? You might want to give that a try as well. http://i.imgur.com/NdrFdld.png[/img]
March 11, 201411 yr Author Ok tried all the suggestions, Thanks so much guys I'm still getting the same error so I'm going to start a complete rewrite of my mod and hope that fixes it. The error seems to me like its a java problem though I downloaded installed and re setup the whole environment. Thanks again for the help and if the rewrite doesnt work I'll post again.
March 13, 201411 yr Author Rebuild is working but slower so I dont know what the problem was but can anyone explain this message for me I am not even using this library. [09:54:47] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML]: FML has detected a mod that is using a package name based on 'net.minecraft.src' : net.minecraft.src.FMLRenderAccessLibrary. This is generally a severe programming error. There should be no mod code in the minecraft namespace. MOVE YOUR MOD! If you're in eclipse, select your source code and 'refactor' it into a new package. Go on. DO IT NOW!
March 13, 201411 yr Don't worry about it that's FML (Forge Mod Loader) yelling that hay there's a file here that should not be but the thing is FML puts it there to use but in dev it forgets that it put it there and think you the modded did a bit of mixed up coding in my opinion but its okay its normal in dev.
