I have been able to play every version of Minecraft up to 1.6.4 with no problems, but now that the 7's came out, I can't play them. If I first log in, on a fresh launch page, then go onto a server everything looks normal.

If I select any small item, like a torch, flower, arrow, etc, in my hot bar, as if to hold it, the game doesn't crash, but the entire screen goes to hell. I don't get it, the texture pack disappears - like, I can see through the ground, but there's nothing but dark blue below me. I can see the shadows of blocks, sometimes. Water is visible, so is lava. I can see player's skins. The sky is black. I can see chests, signs, things of that sort. But everything else disappears and freaks out. Especially if I have the item still held! If that's the case, the screen is flashing and everything is freaking out in an array of colors. I am desperate, and if I don't get it figured out I'm afraid that the updates will move on without me and I won't be able to play Minecraft anymore. Also, I'd love to show a picture but I don't know how to upload them.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Plenty of places to upload pictures.

And we need logs.

Is this will vanilla minecraft

Forge?

Mods?

Nothing like this should be caused by Forge itself.

However, 1.7 introduced shaders and re-did a lot of the render engine for that, so that may be your issue.

We need hardware specs.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

It's Vanilla.

Okay, I got an imgur, only one picture on it, of the error:

I don't know how to access the logs, and when I do, where should I paste them? Just put them right here?

And Specs....

Windows Vista Ultimate

Dell Dimension DXP061 Model

Intel Core 2 CPU 64000 @ 2.13GHz Processor

4GB Ram

32-bit Operating System

Graphics Card: ATI X1300 w/ 256MB Ram

Let me know what else you'll need, I'm a noob with the technical side of Minecraft xD

1) I can't see your images

2) Use pastebin.com or gist.github.com

3) .minecraft/logs/fml-client-latest log

All these info provided in the EAQ, which you OBVIOUSLY didn't read -.-

I've read it now, and I am sorry, this is a Vanilla problem and I posted to Forge. I just figured that people who deal with lots of mods would probably know the stuff about Minecraft that I need help with.

This is what happened when I opened a new map in 7.4, collected wood (started glitching), then grabbed a dandelion, which made the screen freak out.

Went through a bunch of issues to find a site that I could easily post an image on, here is the link to the enlarged picture:
