Posted April 29, 201411 yr I'm making a custom cable and I want to know how to make it so if I place a block next to the block, they will connect. I've been looking online in the redstone code and trying it myself. I cannot get it!! I got the cable to work with the power and crap but the thing I was talking about up there ^^^^^ I don't get. Could someone send me a code or something? It would help me a lot. Developer of MechanicalCraft. Sadly not available to public yet

April 30, 201411 yr Your in luck! Scratchforfun has just started a custom cable tutorial, try looking at that! http://www.youtube.com/user/ScratchForFun&safe=active&ssui=on The video is decent as far as extreme slam-bang coding goes. However, he could have used half the code by utilizing ForgeDirection properly, creating submethods for partial rendering, using EnumSet for his connections, and decent looping techniques. All in all, it's pretty straightforward though. -S- (if I helped, please click Thank and applaud) http://6upnqa.dm2301.livefilestore.com/y2mtf-vG7Tqq1TiiVpIm53KWj7294NDPoHfSHHb4PzZiMAUfRCfK0UY0MwOu7Q3zTBNVTKqWjr2-xgBfFRpQT5p-QivtvknPpoABMNUw9br9WuZcBFkjePhnAbW500gVm-P/sequiturian.png[/img]

May 1, 201411 yr Author It shouldn't be this difficult to downgrade this pipes. Why do you even use 1.6? The last 1.7 release is nearly perfect. The reason why I can't upgrade to 1.7 is because every time I try to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7 :MinecraftRecomp Fails. I don't know why but i'm still trying to figure it out. Once I get to 1.7 I will delete this thread. Developer of MechanicalCraft. Sadly not available to public yet
