I am trying to install Forge 1.7.2 for an old mod that requires forge. I use the installer for Forge 1.7.2 and it installs just fine. I make sure it has installed by selecting the appropriate profile and then hit "Play".

The launcher then briefly disappears as normal but instead of coming back with the "Mojang" logo and loading the game, it brings me back to the launcher screen. I go into the developer console and find this error:

[17:35:27 ERROR]: Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)

[17:35:27 INFO]: Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash

[17:35:27 INFO]: Deleting C:\Users\ethan\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.7.2-Forge10.12.1.1098\1.7.2-Forge10.12.1.1098-natives-10975576823641

How can this be fixed?

That's not an error, that's telling you there was a error somewhere above it -.-

Please post the full logs.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
