Hello! I've been working on a mod for a bit, and was attempting to use Minecraft's shader system (net.minecraft.shader), but this is seemingly impossible without editing the game's source code. I'm hoping someone over on the Forge team would be willing to put together a hook so that you can access this system (add new shaders for spectating new mobs, add new shaders for super secret settings, etc.). Currently, nothing is possible using these classes, but it looks as if it would only be a few simple changes that would allow this to work.

I flat out don't do rendering, so you are free to submit PRs to Forge's git repo and i'll review them.

But without knowing exactly what you want, and a couple of example shaders using the systems that you want. I can't do much.

However, last I looked the shaders were loaded from the resource packs so they should be able to auto detect any new ones as long as you follow the format correctly.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Alright, I've forked it from my phone, but for some reason on the GitHub client and website it says that I have too many failed login attempts and I need to wait like an hour :( I'll see what I can do about trying to implement at least some of the hook.
