To add a name to my particle effect? I'll have a look at EffectRenderer and come back if i don't understand.

Go look at EffectRenderer.

 

I still can't figure out how to spawn the particle in the world without naming it inside RenderGlobal, i use the addEffect method but can't spawn the particle because it doesn't have a name.

Do whatever the heck the spawnParticle code does, in your own code....

The problem with that is there's no obvious (for me) way to non-statically inherit EffectRenderer, which is needed to actually render new particles. A hook would allow modders to keep static methods and variables to a low.

Why would you need to statically inherit something..

Thats not how programming works.
