penguinsfan77
This shouldn't be in modder support... The modder support fourm is for people who are developing mods for with Forge, which you clearly aren't. Please move this the the Support and Bug Reports fourm and provide them with the log files. xxCaliMurda
There are always logs. But this is just for the future. Your problem is Java 8. I uninstalled Java 8 and tried running again but minecraft still doesn't open ? Java Related Things I Have : Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 20 (64-Bit) Since you said don't use Java 8 I have Java 7, and I tried it with that and it didn't work. So I uninstalled that to but it didn't work either. So I only have Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 20 (64-Bit) now and it still doesn't work... ? xxCaliMurda
Again: You cannot use Java 8. Uninstall it and use Java 7. Not sure if you read what I said, I uninstalled java 8 and was using java 7 and it still didn't work. and Then I tried it with java 7 and it still didn't work. Is this java 8 ? Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 20 (64-Bit) If it is should I get Java SE Development Kit 7 ? and Then Java
xxCaliMurda
Why are you using the Development Kit anyways? You just need the JRE. And yes, this: Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 20 (64-Bit) is Java 8. If you ran with Java 7, post logs from that run. Because don't you need Java SE Development Kit to run Jar filed or I just need JRE ? Also the JDK Java development kit comes with JRE but Ill just install JRE

xxCaliMurda
You just need the JDK if you want to program in Java. Got it working, and is it possible to run optifine on forge mod loader 1.7.10 ? I can't find anything.
