MC freeze after forge install

Alright so I stated off by force updating my Minecraft. I Then downloaded Modloader 1.2.5 and installed it drag and drop into my Minecraft jar (deleted META inf). Ran Minecraft worked fine. I then installed forge 1.2.5 and tried running Minecraft. And it froze on the Updating Minecraft screen, underneath it says done loading but never gets beyond that. I've tried this five or six times all with the same result.

I have searched on the web for a solution but have come up empty and I'm not real computer savvy so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Unsure, but from a guess it sounds like the install is corrupted.  Either a bad download (redownload everything) or modded wrong (try a fresh MC jar and re-mod, if you are on windows use 7zip as it seems to work best).

I redownloaded forge from a different site and it works! Thanks a bunch for your help!
