oi guys, I hope this doesn't count as a bannable offence but here I go!

 

Ive been playing Minecraft for 4 years and have always been disappointed on the lack of speed with these updates. I'm not sure if you guys know this (whether there is 1 developer for forge or more) but every API there is, whether it is bukkit, Sponge etc, they are building off of you, you pretty much control them. but these API's simply cannot update themselves without Forge updating first, but since you guys take about 6 months just to update to the next Minecraft update, it really kills me. Ive kept quite all of these years and its time i finally speak!

 

For one of the most popular games in the world, it should have a bigger or faster dev team to update to 1.8. because me and every farking minecraft player is sick of this crap. I am furious. Someone living in Australia like me, MC isn't as large over here, but in US there are servers with 20 000 people on. So it kills me even more to have all of these servers shutting down, or dieing really quickly due to you guys not updating.

 

Work faster, harder or get more developers, because if you haven't realised yet guys, you are the hub of one of the most popular games in the world, Minecraft. Millions rely on you and you guys or guy just sit back and take ur time.

 

Get your shit together guys, I don't wanna wait till November for Forge 1.8, and if I do end up waiting for that long period of time (Which I probably will because you guys ignore complaints), atleast be way quicker with the updates and be more organized!  >

Okay first of all Lex does what he can. The constant changing of core formats in vanilla, new item/block registration, rendering, continual obfuscation of code etc. The team is also severely stunted. There's a massive gap between developer and contributor. Micro updates such as the 1.8 to 1.8.1 are also problematic. It also doesn't help that poorly read self entitled kids such as yourself see that they should have free support as soon as the team at mojang fart out another release.  Have you ever seen obfuscated code? It's awful and mojang changes it with each release. And then trying to work around the vanilla additions to get continuity in forge would be difficult to say the least

 

But let's look at it like this. You don't pay for it. You don't contribute. You do nothing but demand support from a now dwindling team. Sad, self centered and ridiculous.

I don't have time for trolls, if you're not intentionally trolling then you are sorely misinformed on how programming, the world, and minecraft work.
