Hullo everyone,

I'm fairly new to the world of modding minecraft, or any other game for that matter, and I was hoping that I could get some assistance.

I've recently tried to get the Equivalent Exchange 2 (or 3, I'm not quite sure) Mod into my minecraft file with... middling success.

I already installed the Minecraft forge and Risigami's Mod Loader onto my Minecraft.jar file, and from the FML logs, I can see that Forge IS finding the Equivalent exchange .jar file, but for some reason it isn't loading the mod into minecraft, only citing Minecraft FORGE and the Forge Mod Loader as the mods loaded.

Any information or help on why this is would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,

Eltanin Ubaan

Just got the latest Minecraft, latest Forge, and 1.3.2 updated mod. No seperately downloaded ModLoader, no MCPatcher or anything like that, as per the instructions in the FAQ and per the instructions of the mod.

I am not having trouble with the same mod as him, but since it is the exact same problem with different mods (I have tested many) it seemed pointless to create another thread. How would you go about getting the log from a mod?

Alright. Thanks for the replies everyone.

I've since uninstalled Risigami's mod loader, reinstalled FML, etc.

I'm still having the same problems however with the Equivalent Exchange mod not loading.

The file ForgeModLoader-client-0.txt as requested:

It does read the EE2 file, and mentions it several times, but it doesn't appear to be recognizing it as a mod or ending up loading it.

I made a fresh copy of Minecraft and put Forge back in there, mods still not loading. I am supposed to drag the contents of the mod's zip archive into the mods folder, yes? Dragging the whole archive as a single entity just linked me to it's location on Winrar.

Uh, well, this might sound a bit stupid, but am I supposed to be using minecraft-1.3.2 jar or just minecraft.jar? Everything else I looked up said to use the regular minecraft.jar.

To my knowledge there isn't a minecraft-1.3.2.jar.

I'm in the current version of minecraft (1.3.2) and the .jar file is still minecraft.jar.

Alright. I decided to test and see if I ran into the same problem with another mod, IndustrialCraft2.

It was loaded by the Forge Modloader without problem, although the modloader continues to refuse to load Equivalent Exchange.

I re-downloaded Equivalent exchange, yet it still is not loaded by the Forge Modloader.

Once again, thank you for all the help, I appreciate it greatly.

...no

If you notice, it is for 1.2.5.

Things 'might' work between 1.3.2 on up, but nothing could work between 1.2.5 and 1.3.2 due to the *huge* structural changes in MC.

Ah, that would explain it in one fell swoop.

Thanks much for the help, I appreciate it.
