I have a GUI and I want it to render Blocks and Items on it. It doesn't matter if the render 3D or 2D

The GuiContainer class had a private method called

drawItemStack(ItemStack,x,y,String)

which you can copy and make a new method from and use that.

But what about rendering blocks?

You can put blocks in ItemStacks too.

Just use Item.getItemFromBlock() and Block.getBlockFromItem
