[1.8] Textures of items and blocks

In 1.8 I can't find any method to load a texture for a item/block. Are there any tutorials on that? If not, how would I do this?

Textures are now done via JSON files. You need 3 for a block and 1 for an item. Take a look at the new folders in https://github.com/Eternaldoom/Realms-of-Chaos/tree/1.8/assets/realmsofchaos

I have to say, the new JSON format for block models (and I mean the model, not the texture specification) better be documented somewhere.

Its on the minecraft wiki. Sorry, the only alternative is currently ASM.

The settings.gradle file has been fixed. But, the build.gradle has an error now.
Error:

[SOLVED][1.21.8 | Forge 58.0.5] How to cancel InputEvent.MouseScrollingEvent?

Personally, I just use event.SetCanceled(true) in my handler and it blocks the scroll well.
Even if the method does not appear clear, it is available via the Cancellable interface.
It works at home without additional hacks.
