Posted November 25, 201410 yr Hi Everyone, I'm trying to package my 1.7.10 mod into a .zip file, but I don't know how. Minecraft Wiki only has tutorials for 1.6.4 and below, and I can't find any tutorials anywhere else. Does anyone know how to package my mod? Thanks
November 25, 201410 yr If you are trying to upload your mod to planetminecraft, which won't accept jar files, just rename your jar file to zip and upload that. eg mymod.jar --> mymod.zip -TGG
December 3, 201410 yr Author Thanks, I didn't know that it was so easy. I thought it was supposed to be a .zip file because that is what Minecraft Wiki told me, but a .jar file works too.
December 3, 201410 yr "JAR files are fundamental archive files, built on the ZIP file format and have the .jar file extension." Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
December 3, 201410 yr Incase you still don't know, open a command prompt in your dev workspace, and type gradlew build. The file will be in builds/lib [shadow=gray,left][glow=red,2,300]KEEGAN[/glow][/shadow]
