Hi, first sorry for the bad english :)

I have problems starting out with Forge 1.8, im new to Minecraft Modding but i allready got some "Hello World" tests done with FML 1.8. My goal is to start the Forge 1.8 example mod in Eclipse in a Windows 7 64-Bit env.. Here is what i have done, and what worked for me with FML 1.8 and also Forge 1.7 (10.13.2.1230).

1.) Downloaded Version 11.14.0.1252 Src

2.) started gradlew setupDevWorkspace

3.) started gradlew eclipse

4.) Opened the eclipse folder as workspace in Eclipse (Luna Release (4.4.0))

5.) Hit the Run button

As i said this procedure worked for me with FML 1.8 (8.0.12.1018) and Forge 1.7 (10.13.2.1230). I also tried 11.14.0.1251 and 11.14.0.1249 with the same results.

Here is my Log from Eclipse:

Sadly im relative new to Java development but i am wide expirenced in other languages, so i googled searched the forum and tried many things that sound helpfull. Like switching to a different Java Version. I tried switching the JRE in Eclipse, installed the JDK and tried to set is as the JRE for the project etc.

Now im stuck, hoping i done all right and that you can help me.

Wow thanks, that worked. I was sceptical because the readme.txt says "setupDevWorkspace", would you give me some more information whats the difference between these two arguments are, and why its worked with "setupDevWorkspace" in the other builds i mentioned? I would be very thankful.
