macmakkara Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hello. Im having problems with latest forge, CodeChikenCore and NEI. CodeChikenCore and NEI are located at coremods folder. My error log http://pastebin.com/Vg84PJTk . Don't know if its forge or NEI error. Server is running under linux server and same setup runs well at my windows pc. Quote

Also, there are some issues with the latest NEI, though they don't cause a crash.. Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
macmakkara Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Nope i don't have dublicates at mods folder. im going to try earlier NEI if thats the problem E: not working with CCC 0.6.3 and NEI 1.4.0.3. Same error. Quote
rivvest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I just tested and the logs are misleading, sorry! I don't have a linux box handy to test on, but it appears to be trying to load the minecraft_server.jar as an NEI plugin and choking. Definitely not a Forge issue in any case. macmakkara Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Ok thanks. Then other forum --> Quote
SanAndreaP Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Wait, why did you try to install NEI in your server? As far as I know, it's only for the client to install it and should work on any server, or am I wrong? Quote Don't ask for support per PM! rivvest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 You can use it for granular op control on a server: Server Config A configuration file will be generated in config\NEIServer.cfg containing various confiutation options for servers. The config file comments explain the functions. In short it allows you to assign certain functions to be used only by certain players. So you can select who can use OP enchantments etc. There is also a banned blocks section, any blocks that are banned wont show in a user's item panel. Bedrock is banned by default so connected users can't spawn bedrock, (unless you specify their name). Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
SanAndreaP Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Ah, now I understand. Thanks, rivvest! Anyway, the message "The mod container minecraft_server.jar appears to be missing an mcmod.info file" is normal and should be ignored, as well as the other ones with mentioning the mcmod.info file. If they don't exist, it won't cause any crash, because it's an optional file for the mod package. I rather see this as a problem: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: paulscode.sound.CommandObject Isn't this a client only class? CCC tries to load it: Attempting load of codechicken related file: paulscode/sound/CommandThread.class in /etc/tfcraft/minecraft_server.jar Unable to load class: paulscode/sound/CommandThread.class Quote Don't ask for support per PM! rivvest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 What's weird is that it's actually opening the minecraft_server.jar -- on my system, it goes through the same process, but doesn't do anything with it: 2012-10-08 12:34:32 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Found a minecraft related file at C:\Users\*\Desktop\Minecraft\Versions\1.3.2-Server\minecraft\minecraft_server.jar, examining for codechicken classes 2012-10-08 12:34:32 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] Attempting load of codechicken related file: net/minecraftforge/event/CommandEvent.class in C:\Users\*\Desktop\Minecraft\Versions\1.3.2-Server\minecraft\minecraft_server.jar 2012-10-08 12:34:32 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Found a minecraft related file at C:\Users\*\Desktop\Minecraft\Versions\1.3.2-Server\minecraft\coremods\CodeChickenCore 0.6.4.jar, examining for codechicken classes paulscode/ gets put in when you install Forge, of course.
