Ok so I'm working on updating  a mod and it's a bit of a mess at the moment but I'd like to compile even though it has several errors so I can replace a single class file in the mod now rather than waiting so I can test if something is fixed, the class file in question does have a couple of errors but nothing that would be an issue if the class was dropped into the old version.

Is it possible to force gradle to ignore the errors and build anyway?

No.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
