Well, I set up Forge 1.7.10 on Eclipse by yesterday, and so, most of methods are misunderstood, example:

public void onBlockAdded(World p_onBlockAdded_1_, int p_onBlockAdded_2_,
		int p_onBlockAdded_3_, int p_onBlockAdded_4_)

Which means I need Javadoc, sure? Well, I downloaded from the site, put, but it still doesn't changes. Or is there another Javadoc folder I need to download? Or anything else to do after set a Javadoc directory?

Thanks.

I don't see what the problem is. You can just change the names of the parameters. If the problems is that you can't tell what each parameter is supposed to be, it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out from the context, the parameters in the onBlockAdded method you provided are the world, x, y, and z coordinates.

Don't make mods if you don't know Java.

Mostly I can figure out, but these with a lot of parameters are a little hard, depending of the context.

But well, isn't there a any? Everyone I see has this working, it's really annoying to see lot of Arg0, Arg1....  :-\

Almost none of the parameter names are converted to human-readable and left in SRG format.

It bugs me, but I can deal most of the time.

Hi

In case you didn't know - the reason the parameters have unhelpful names is because the source code has been automatically generated from the minecraft compiled code.  Helpful humans have renamed many of the classes and methods, but not all of them, because they tend to change every time a new version of minecraft comes out.

The project is MCP and its homepage is here

They have a tool you can use to browse mappings with

http://mcp.ocean-labs.de/news.php?item.13.1

and also a chatbot which you can use to add new mappings yourself

http://mcpold.ocean-labs.de/index.php/MCPBot_Reborn

It is clunky but better than nothing.
