When i try to load minecraft i get this error within the text box

Using missing texture, unable to load ptmod:textures/blocks/tronopoliumOre.png

java.io.FileNotFoundException: ptmod:textures/blocks/tronopoliumOre.png

My main file with the blocks code

public final static Block tronopoliumOre = new tronopoliumOre(6000, Material.rock).setBlockName("tronopoliumOre").setCreativeTab(PTTab).setHardness(3).setBlockTextureName("PTmod:tronopoliumOre");

Have you checked the casing on you texture file? Remember zip files are case sensitive.

I require Java, both the coffee and the code :)

the way i get to the texture is:

1.7.10\src\main\resources\assets\PTmod\textures\blocks

and the texture is:

tronopoliumOre.png

so i think i have it all right and dont under stand why its not working

Every directory name should be lowercase, since java does care the case, while windows does not.

I. Stellarium for Minecraft: Configurable Universe for Minecraft! (WIP)

II. Stellar Sky, Better Star Rendering&Sky Utility mod, had separated from Stellarium.

For my file names I'd rather go for "/sampleblock/sampleblock_north.png" no upper cases just underscores.

This way I won't have any problems with naming stuff as everything is in lowercase.

Thanks Belpois it works now :P java is weird with that lower case stuffs.

That has nothing to do with Java...

The windows file system doesn't care about upper- and lowercase names, but jars do care.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.
