My problem is at Blocks Step 5 - tracking down the source of FileNotFoundException

under Your blockstates.json file is not being found

i am sure that i wrote it right but its still not working. and i dont get why

would be really nice from u if u could look at my code. maybe u can find out whats wrong.

Not exactly a 1.8 thing but I was having issues with lighting not working even though it should have been. Turns out my issue was not updating the block so the lighting visually fixed itself. I spent 3 hours redoing the code only to realize oh wait all I needed was a block update

Anyway thought I might add that so others don't waste time like I did. Time is so valuable. Great guide though, definitely something I approve of and found interesting
