[1.7.10]Energy System

Hello,

I'm a newbie with forge, and I'm trying to make a energy system and machines(EX: Macerator, compressor) like in Industrial Craft, and Item/liquid transport system like in Buildcraft. Please help me.

P.S.: I'm not creating an addon.

Have look at BC or IC code, or any other code.

If your definition of "energy" is literally or close to what IC have, then for you as a person who is "newbie with forge" this is going to be really hard.

Your best shot in even understanding how to code system like that is ONLY by looking at how redstone and/or IC's energy work. Once you understand how power flows through minecraft's 3d world via blocks (cables) - you might be able to start coding something - then you can come back here for direct help with code. Without that - we simply can't help you - the task you choosen is simply too difficult to just describe how-to in forum post.

No, there are no tuts for stuff like that, it's advanced level.

Use your IDE (like Eclipse) and search Java for *redstone* constructor declarations.

Regarding energy systems generally, the idea is that you need to have three types of blocks -- energy sources, energy conduits ("wires"), energy users (machines). In most cases you'll want these to have tile entities, as you need to remember some energy values and maybe do some complicated processing. The energy source just needs to keep a field that indicates the amount of energy it can provide. The energy conduit needs to look at neighboring blocks and adjust the amount of energy it has based on the energy sources and other conduits that are touching it. The energy users just need to look at neighboring blocks and check for energy sources or conduits with sufficient energy to operate the machine.

That's the basic idea.

How to change player renderer and transform model parts?

I have been trying for a while now to make a custom player renderer, and replace the vanilla player renderer with it. So far I've come up with a custom player renderer class that extends vanilla PlayerRenderer:

This logic isn't replacing the renderer, as far as I can tell. Can someone please advise as to why, and how to fix it?

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

I'm on 1.20.1 and was wondering if there was a way to add a mob I am going to make to a other mod's biome (Regions Unexplored in this case). I am trying to figure this out before I start coding the mod. Could someone point me to a good guide on this? I saw some things about biome modifier's but all the resources are either to short, unhelpful or for a different version. Thanks in advance. (i am a beginner but i have java and modding knowledge so this isn't like a "i am new and don't know anything about coding" problem btw)

Cobblemon invalid player data

Hi everyone, I keep getting "invalid player data" when trying to log onto my friend's server. Log analysis says to remove Night Lights and ImmediatelyFast, but that doesn't work. Any insight is appreciated
