Reshaping the Armour models

How can I change the shape of armor, ie., extend the shoulders out, or round the armor out (like into a hexagon) instead of a rectangle. Or change the boots to make them bigger. If I cannot change the specific shape of the armor, how could I, maybe add horns to the helmet, or something along those lines.

You'd have to completely re-write the player renderer.
