Hi everyone. I'm leaving on a trip soon. I was looking on google on how to make IntelliJ run on a flash drive so I can do coding on the go. It worked and I was really happy. I opened IntelliJ up and all the libraries were gone. I instantly remembered seeing a .gradle folder in my user folder when I was setting up forge for the first time a while back.

So this question arises: How do I make gradle portable?

You have to regenerate the IntelliJ project if you move your project elsewhere. It's not that big of a deal, just set it up again and paste in your existing code.

Yes I know that I will have to do that. But how do I have all the build scripts for gradle moved onto my flash drive? I t would be a pain re-setting up everything every time I put the flash drive into a different computer.

And besides that the computer I will be using on the trip has VERY limited space.

Hmm... Maybe I will have to think of something else...

Look at how my code is set up on my Github repository. If you have all of those folders and files, excluding the readme, license, and version check json, you are good to go.

Also don't bump your threads, the edit button exists for a reason.

Yay! Setting the environment variable worked for me.
