After hours of reading, tweaking, and crying, I'm at my wit's end.

HI! Let me keep this brief because I desperately need help. I wanted to do all of this on my own, and I was so close but nothing seems to be working now, and I'm worse off than when I started. I tried to follow this guide: [http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1221062-Using-MagicLauncher-with-your-Minecraft-mods!] and got to Not Enough Items before running into problems with Forge. Forge worked fine before that point. After installing NEI and CCC, Optifine disappeared from my Magic Launcher setup screen and Forge would cause this error message to show: [http://pastebin.com/T0eDeu8K], however launching minecraft without Forge worked fine, but then I couldn't have ANY mods, which is not what I'm going for. I have been at this, manually putting Optifine in minecraft.jar to see if it would work, manually putting Forge into minecraft.jar, for 2.5 hours now and I keep making things worse. I'm miserable and I am done with this for now. Could someone please recommend a course of action? I am forced to admit defeat ;-;  Thank you for your time.

Redownload forge, looks like something got screwed up really bad.

Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum.

It's pretty likely that there is an answer.

Tired of waiting for mods to port to bukkit?

use BukkitForge! (now with a working version of WorldEdit!)

Sorry for the late reply - I worked today. Yes, I put NEI and CCC in the coremods folder, with nothing else. I added Forge and Optifine through Magic Launcher's service and I placed Rei's minimap mod into the mods folder. If you have any other questions, I'll see how I can help but I'm uninstalling and deleting EVERYTHING I can tonight and I'll start with a fresh install of Minecraft tomorrow. Today has been long and trying

Just noticed this, might be a bit late, but your using CodeChickenLoader (a 1.2.3 mod) instead of CodeChickenCore... That's why it's crashing.
