I am using 1.7.10 Forge and all my mods are 1.7.10, my other modpacks use Forge 10.13.4.xxxx but now that I'm making new modpack its telling me to update Forge and i downloaded the latest installer 10.13.4.1558 and the Universal but that doesn't seem to work it crashes Minecraft. ANY Forge after 10.13.3.1356 doesn't work and crashes.

Temporarily disable your antivirus program, download Minecraft once again, then try logging in.

(back it up if you want)

download the installer

temporarily disable your antivirus program

open it

it wont uninstall minecraft, but it will say "repair" and "uninstall". click "repair" and do "next".

then it will check for missing required files and it wont delete anything!!!!  8)
