Hello,

I am trying to port back my 1.8 mod to 1.7.10 and am having trouble with the config file's directory. Whenever I try to run my 1.7.10 version and it reaches this line of code in preInit:

Configuration config = new Configuration(event.getModConfigurationDirectory());

it prints out a stack trace with this exception:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\<name>\OneDrive\<workspace>\<mod> 1.7.10\config (Access is denied)

I don't understand why this is happening because my 1.8 version is in the same directory (except in a <mod> 1.8 folder) and doesn't have any problems.

I had both my 1.8 and 1.7.10 versions print out event.getModConfigurationDirectory(), so I know that they are both going in the correct directories to find their configs, so that's not the problem.

As far as I can tell, both config folders have the same access permissions as well.

config = new Configuration(event.getSuggestedConfigurationFile());

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
