Posted November 21, 201212 yr It won't install because it won't pop up when I first open Minecraft. You know that screens it pops up for about 10 seconds whenever you install FML? Mine for some reason won't do that, I am trying to install the NotEnoughItems Mod v1.4.5. And incase I'm doing this wrong, here is my installation process. 1. Download the latest Forge Loader 2. Open it up with WinRar 3. Drop all the class files into the minecraft.jar 4. Open Minecraft to see if it will work, and of course, it doesn't. Edit: Also yes, i have deleted META-INF
November 21, 201212 yr Logs? There's an EAQ for a reason. Read it! "Note that failure to read this will make you look idiotic. You don't want that do you?" -- luacs1998 First rule of bug reports: More information is always better. Oh, and logs OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!
November 21, 201212 yr Suspected net.minecraft.Launcher error. What launcher are you using? Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
November 21, 201212 yr Author Well, I don't have logs because the mod hasn't even installed. And I can run my minecraft perfectly fine, it's almost as if the class files i put into my minecraft.jar are just extra files that don't do anything. I mean I can install it, it doesn't work so I just keep playing minecraft like nothing happened. I've even used the MC HD Patcher and it doesnt conflict with FML. Like I said, it just runs like i never even opened the minecraft.jar. I am using the launcher that you get when you download Minecraft. Non-pirated.
November 22, 201212 yr DON'T, for the love of god, use MCPatcher. Use optifine. Install forge, and then optifine, or use MultiMC Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum. It's pretty likely that there is an answer. Was I helpful? Give me a thank you! http://bit.ly/HZ03zy[/img] Tired of waiting for mods to port to bukkit? use BukkitForge! (now with a working version of WorldEdit!)
November 22, 201212 yr His original problem didn't involve MCPatcher at all. Regardless, use MultiMC. It'll make your life easier when it comes to installing mods. There's an EAQ for a reason.
