Posted January 13, 20169 yr I am trying to make a block class, that takes two textures, and colorizes one of them, before stitching them together... like the potions, they have a background and a overlay texture, that gets colored.
January 13, 20169 yr They're are two options here. Option 1 (easy, fast): render the block twice in both pass 0 and pass 1 (Google "multi pass blocks"). Option 2 (hard, beautiful): make a custom TextureAlasSprite class that overrides the load method. I've made a few posts here with fully functional code, but be aware that crashes/bugs that result from handling the icon loading yourself are very difficult to debug because the problem occurs much father down the line, obscuring the true error. My code also includes a colorize method (works on the HSV spectrum). Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
January 14, 20169 yr Author Thank you a lot, but one more question, except for colorizing the tesselator, is there an easier way to colorize it? EDIT - Solved it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
