Posted February 3, 20169 yr I searched and didn't see any bug reports on this particular issue; Droppers aren't dropping items like they are supposed to. Dispensers work correctly, but items that are moved/put into a dropper just sit in the dropper and don't get pushed out. I admit I am illiterate with redstone and I'm not sure if it's okay to post a link to the tutorial I followed. It's a simple auto-dropper system I use for item elevators and garbage disposals. It works in vanillia 1.8.9, but not when I'm running under forge. There is no crash log or error logs to report that I can see, the issue is present both in my single player world and on my server. edited to add some further info; this was on forge versions 1.8.9 - 11.15.1.1722, 1.8.9 - 11.15.1726, 1.8.9 - 11.15.1729 I tested this with no mods installed on a fresh world and got the same results. The game is not crashing so I'm not getting any log to post here.

February 3, 20169 yr Author I'm sorry if I'm being stupid, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by setup. I'm running under windows 7 64bit with an i7 cpu , 12 gigs of ram and an invidia gforce gtx 560ti video card. For the game, I tried the 3 previously mentioned versions of forge on both my single player world and on my server. I only use 1 mod, greg's sgcraft, but I did test the issue without the mod installed, and the dropper issue was still present in the game when it was just forge only, with no mods added. I would think this mechanism should work since it works in vanilla 1.8.9. This is a link to the tut for the auto dropper I am using; If I'm still not giving you the information you need, please let me know, I want to be helpful, I'm just new to this stuff..
February 3, 20169 yr It looks like Fry just committed a fix for this, so it should work in 1.8.9-11.15.1.1730 once that's been released. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
February 3, 20169 yr Yes, please try build #1730, this issue should be fixed there. Thanks for reporting!
February 3, 20169 yr Author I just wanted to post to confirm that the latest version did indeed resolve the issue I was having. Thanks so much for the quick replies and quick fix!
