Posted May 11, 20169 yr I want to limit the stack size to 1 and only allow some items. Keep in mind I'm using the IInventory system. I can't understand the capabilities system AT ALL, and will switch once I understand it. Thanks. Add me on Skype: AblazeTheBest. Send a message saying "#HeyAblaze" Currently: Making a mod!
May 11, 20169 yr ItemStacks can be inserted by either Container or by world. For container youcan create custom Slot classes which accept proper stuff and sizes. Same goes for IInventory. 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

So which method(s) do I need to override in my Slot subclass? Add me on Skype: AblazeTheBest. Send a message saying "#HeyAblaze" Currently: Making a mod!
May 11, 20169 yr Can't you just look into Slot.class? isItemValid canTakeStack Names speak for themselves. Note that this is only for Container/Gui manipulation. There are other ways (direcly from code or hoppers) to insert stuff. You can simply not accept hoppers if that is a problem. 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.
May 11, 20169 yr Jesus Christ. IInventory#canInsertItem and IInventory#isItemValidForSlot Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
