Raycoms
Before the 1.8.9 update we simply created new ItemStacks by: new ItemStack(world.getBlock(x,y,z) now when I try new ItemStack(world.getBlockState(x,y,z).getBlock() the ItemStacks do not contain the necessary metadata (all slabs are always stone slabs etc) and ItemStack stack = new ItemStack(metadata.getBlock(), 1); stack.setItemDamage(block.getMetaFromState(metadata)); leads to crashes for BlockDoor and probably other blocks as well. Raycoms
and If I don't have the worldBlock? If I only have the IBlockState?
Raycoms
Thank you. What is "MovingObjectPosition" for. What do I enter in this field?
Raycoms
I was able to use the "getItem(block) method inside the block class, the same method Block#getPickBlock uses. But when I tested my mod in smp it crashed since the getItem method is Clientside only. So how may I get the item correctly on the server (getPickBlock also will need that getItem method) ? Raycoms
This also guarantees plantpots and doors?
Raycoms
So there is no way to get the item on the server since getPickBlock, like I said earlier, calls a client only method.
Raycoms
When I connect drops with silk touch it should work? Which method does it use (serverside)
Draco18s
That's onBlockHarvested, I believe. Which is called from onBlockRemoved (by player).
